it's not awful, but it's not what i was hoping for. anyone have any ideas about the odd dip before it goes to the bigger cam lobes? i assume if i lower the crossover with a vpac or similar, it will go away.
sorry again, this isn't an integra - it's a completely stock (before the JRSC) 2000 Prelude SH. i have made some changes since this dyno, plugs, intake, timing, fuel pressure, but they didn't give me any gains. i think some tuning is in order, but there ain't a whole lot to tune! any comments would be appreciated. i've got gauges coming in tomorrow, so that might shed some light on things for me.

well, i wasn't expecting 235whp. i was hoping to hit 210 bone stock with the kit. that would represent an increase of 160 -> 210, or a bit over 30%. 160 -> 200 is admittedly close, but it seems like 40whp from 6psi of boost is on the weak side. i am pretty sure the fuel pressure is wacked, so that will be my first stop after the gauges come in.

Judging by the way the torque falls off so quickly at 6000+, it looks like it is running very rich up there. Do you have an a/f printout?

they did the run with a/f, but it's not printed. i'll get it from them next time i'm down there....
here's an interesting comparison : the red line is a jackson dyno with just intake, the green line is iranman from preludeonline.com (also just intake) and the blue line is mine (stock). given the similarities of red and green, i would've thought INTAKE would be the answer. however, putting on an intake did NOT help me... at least not yet. the ORANGE line is a 7psi turbo, dyno'd on the same dyno as my jrsc lude.

Don't forget the jackson dyno was done on race fuel. Oscar admitted that when he was backed against the wall about the results.

NO KIDDING??? I didn't know that. Are you sure that applies to this particular dyno? On race gas, they probably could've advanced the BTC all the way.

From the dyno, it looks as if your setup is also suffering from the 6200+rpm fuel dump that Si's and ITR's suffer from as Sonny mentioned.

Well, I wish I had 171lbs of torque myself!
I'm sure someone will be along to diagnose, but it's almost always a too rich fuel issue (along with some timing adjustments, and maybe belt adjustment).
I don't think I've seen anyone start out too lean, but haven't seen too many prelude charts around here.
The SC lude is supposed to put out around 235HP or so, I think. Can't remember.

Just for some reference:
take a look over at preludeonline.com. They have a few JR supercharged Preludes with dyno charts posted I believe. I don't know of anyone that has hit the claimed "238whp" but who knows...

DOH! Sorry I just saw your post over there =). disregard my last post. But just to reply to your post over their. I think JR's famed 238whp was with aftermarket intake/headers/and exhaust system. Don't know how much of a difference that makes though.
